Improv & Service design workshop: A hands on partnership | We All Design

  • The Trampery Old Street 239 Old Street London, England, EC1V 9EY United Kingdom (map)

Reserve your place here!

In this workshop,  explore and learn participatory techniques to develop engaging customer experiences as part of a team. To do this,  you will combine improvisational acting techniques with service design tools.

Many people know how to prototype the interface for a digital solution. Fewer people have ideas about how to prototype dynamic and interactive experiences between multiple actors, where service delivery is often dependant on the individual actions of people.

This hands on workshop will take you through a process of collective thinking by doing and evaluating ideas with improvised scenarios.

By the end of the workshop, you would learn new techniques that:

  • Give you the tools to think (and prototype) faster on your feet

  • Offer fast and accurate ways to communicate new service innovations

  • Help you listen and engage with teams building a shared understanding

Everyone is welcome to attend the workshop regardless of their ability or experience with service design and improv.

About We All Design

We All Design is led by Rob Maslin. We design services and strategies for the benefit of the environment, society and our client's bottom line. We take a human centred design approach to coordinate users, staff, things (material resources), information and stakeholders to create more value collectively than they could in isolation. We All Design has worked with a wide range of organisations from start ups, to large multinationals, such as Kyocera and Live Nation Entertainment, to local governments and central government organisations such as the UK cabinet office.
