The Festival is opening its stage for students, developing service designers and non-service designers or people with a new perspective to give a 3-5 minute lightning talk.

Is there a current challenge you think we face in the service design industry? Do you have ideas about how the industry could better address inclusion and diversity? Or maybe you just want to hit us from an angle we never saw coming! We want to hear from you.

WHO IS IT AIMED FOR?

  • Students and new graduates

  • Developing service designers

  • People who are not working in the service design industry but are practising service design methodologies or processes and applying it to their field of work

  • People who simply don’t call themselves a service designer but are making impacts for users of a service

WHAT YOU GET IN RETURN?

  • A platform to talk about and promote yourself

  • Knowledge of who is in the room ahead of your presentation

  • Potential opportunity to mentorship

  • A chance to showcase your work with Arts Thread, the world's leading creative graduate network

Calling all risk takers, change makers, divergent thinkers and rising stars! Share what you have to say with us.

We have now closed our applications for 2018. However, if you’re interested, there may be an opportunity to join us for 2019 edition! Watch this space…

The Lightning Talks have been brought as a partnership with Arts Thread and the Service Design Network UK Chapter.
